Invisible Fence Containment System - PetSafe PRF-3004W-20

This PetSafe in-ground, invisible fence discourages your pet from crossing a boundary defined by a cable laid on or under the ground. This boundary forms an invisible fence which ineracts with a collar worn by your pet. As the pet approaches the fence the deterrant is an audible tone optionally followed by a static correction, should your pet continue to attempt to cross the boundary. The static correction is not harmful, but is sufficient to distract your pet and discourage it from straying further (the static correction is similar to that experienced sometimes as you enter or exit a car, it is not dangerous and is in no way comparable to an electric shock such as would be produced by an electric fence).

The system is suitable for pets over 2.7kg (6 lbs) and at least 6 months old and helps to teach your pet which areas are safe and which are off-limits. The levels of correction can be determined by an adjustment on the collar to match your pet's temperament. Flags are provided so that your pet can be made aware of the physical location of the fence.
